After fairly low voting numbers, the results are in, and the winner of best place to spend St. Patrick's Day in Brookline is... Matt Murphy's Pub
First place in the Best place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day poll goes to Matt Murphy's Pub, by one vote. They edged out Corrib Pub, who had first place briefly earlier in the week.
The Abbey made it into third place, and of the remaining competition, the Beacon Street Tavern was the only one to get a vote. One competitor asked to drop out of the competition early on, as The Publick House is not a St. Patrick's Day venue.
However, with only 16 total votes in the poll, voting was a bit anemic this week compared to last week's 160 votes and 34 comments. Which suggests that folks may be spending their St. Patrick's Day elsewhere. Where are you planning to go? Tell us in the comments.
