Updated, 2:35 p.m.: An arrest has been made following reports of suspicious activity at Blue Hill Bank (formerly Hyde Park Savings Bank) at 1337 Beacon St., and Brookline Bank at 1016 Beacon St.

Several reports of suspicious activity at banks along Beacon Street in Brookline were received by police late this morning and early this afternoon, according to scanner reports.

Two white men, wearing hooded sweatshirts, hats and gloves, were seen entering banks, and when approached, they left the banks, scanner reports indicate.

Police have detained one man near the corner of Beacon Street and St. Mary's Street, according to scanner reports.
