Rich, Single and Living in Brookline: Town Ranked No. 3 on Rich and Single List
More than just a desirable place to live, Brookline is a perfect place if you've got money to burn and are looking for love.
Trees and money are aplenty in Brookline, according to a fresh list on CNN Money which ranks Brookline as number three on a list of 25 communities ideal for the rich and single.
According to the CNN Money report, the town's median family income is over $139,000, and 41.8 percent of the population is single.
Among the town's features, according to the article, Olmsted Park and the Emerald Necklace, Coolidge Corner, and Larz Anderson Auto Museum's regular auto shows.
Earlier this week, the town was also listed as number 31 on Money's list of Best Places to live. Boston Magazine Named the town One of 'Best Places to Live' last year, and a number of local businesses made the Best of Boston list this year and last.
Neighboring Newton did top Brookline on both lists, coming in at number four on the Best Places list, and top of the rich and single list.
