Knyvet Robbery Park, Two Suspects Arrested

Warrant issued for a third man from Brookline.

Brookline Police made two arrests they believe connected a robbery at Knyvet Park, the Brookline Police Blog reports, and have issued a warrant for a third.

The victim of the incident called police, and reported that he had seen one of the suspects from the Sunday evening unarmed robbery near 338 St. Paul Street. Following an investigation, they have arrested a 17-year-old from Maryland and a juvenile from Hyde Park. The warrant issued was for an adult from Brookline.

The incident reported earlier: at around 11 p.m., two people were walking through the park when three men approached them, punched one of them and went through his pockets. The suspects took a wallet, license, school ID, credit card and cell phone. One victim had minor cuts on his face, but neither of them needed medical attention.

The suspects were described as:

  • one white man, about 5'6" tall in his early 20s with a thin build, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans;
  • a black man between 5'8" and 5'10" tall, with dark skin, short hair, no facial hair, and a medium build, wearing a brown t-shirt and dark shorts
  • a second black man in his early twenties, about 6' tall, with a white t-shirt, dark shorts, short hair and stubble, as well as a fake diamond earring.
