Joseph Kennedy III May Be Moving to Brookline

Possible fourth congressional district candidate Joseph Kennedy III may be settling in Brookline to make his run.

After announcing he would look into a run for the Fourth Congressional District, Joseph Kennedy III may be heading to Brookline shortly. According to the Boston Herald, Joseph Kennedy III says he will be moving into an apartment in Brookline, in the Fourth District.

There were reports in early January that he would be moving to a Newton apartment Feb. 1, according to an aide. He grew up in Brighton, and currently lives in Cambridge. Kennedy is also leaving his job as a prosecutor at Middlesex County Court.

Kennedy is the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy and the son of former U.S. Rep. Joseph Kennedy II, who represented the Eighth Congressional District from 1987-1999.

Following Barney Frank's retirement announcement last November, a number of candidates have thrown their hats into the ring. Including, Brookline Democrat Jules LevineNewton Democrat Herb Robinson, Sharon resident Marty Farren, as well as Republican and former Fourth District contender Sean Bielat, and Brookline School Committee member and Republican Elizabeth Childs
