Half-Marathon Coming to Brookline this Weekend
Department of Conservation and Recreation released information about two road races this weekend, and subsequent road closings.

The following roads will be closed on Sunday, October 9 and Monday, October 10 respectively for the following two annual road races: Tufts 10K and Boston Athletic Association (BAA) Half-Marathon.
BAA Half-Marathon
The Boston Athletic Association’s 11th Annual B.A.A. Half Marathon is an out-and-back route that takes runners along the Emerald Necklace parkway system.
WHEN: Sunday, October 9, 2011.
WHERE: Parking Ban in Effect from Sunday at 1 a.m. to Sunday at 1 p.m. from #132 to #206 on The Riverway. Road Closures begin at 8 a.m. and end at approximately 10:30 a.m.

Tufts 10K Road Race
WHEN: Monday, October 10, 2011 from approx. 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
WHERE: Road Closures begin at 10: 30 a.m. and end at approximately 3 p.m. in the following areas:
- Arlington St. between Storrow Dr. and Beacon St.
- Arlington St. exit from the Storrow Drive Tunnel
- Mass. Ave. Bridge
- Memorial Dr. between First St. and Reid Overpass
The following parking restrictions will also be in place from 1:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Monday:
- Memorial Dr. westbound from #1 to #450
- Memorial Dr. eastbound from #450 to Wadsworth St.
