Hidden Foot Paths of Aspinwall Hill
When/Where: 9 a.m. Saturday, outside of 552 Washington St
Why: Take a mile-long hike around Aspinwall Hill, with several local groups, as they show you the local flavors of some of the edible plants in the area. The event is sponsored by Brookline GreenSpace Alliance, Aspinwall Hill Neighborhood Association and Bountiful Brookline.

PMC Newton-Needham-Brookline Kids ride on Saturday June 16th
When/Where: 180 Wells Ave on Saturday, starting at 9 a.m.
Why: The annual Pan-Mass Children's Ride will run this weekend to raise some money for the Jimmy Fund. The annual ride for kids aged 3 to 16 runs in a Newton neighborhood, and draws kids from Newton, Needham and Brookline. If some of the older kids (9 and up) are so inclined, they can also try a road race from Newton to Dover.

6th Annual Anna's Walqueria
When/Where: 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Anna's Taqueria.
Why: Take a 13-mile walk for charity, and check out some of the Anna's locations you may not regularly stop into. Walkers (walkquers?) get a bib and a punch card, and each stop they go to is worth $5 to the Home for Little Wanderers. Get to the 6th store, get a free burrito. Cooking Demo with GreenPan at west elm
When/Where: 2 p.m. on Saturday, at West Elm in Fenway (on Brookline Avenue)
Why: Check out some green cookware for when you're making dad a great meal on Sunday. Sample some dishes made in the carbon-reducing pans, which are naturally non-stick. The demo runs until 4 p.m.

Father's Day Walk in the Park
When/Where: 11 a.m. on Sunday. Fenway Park, Gate C.
Why: Give your Red Sox Fan dad something fairly unforgettable: a chance to walk in the footsteps of his favorite Sox players. Bank of America presents this chance to walk around the Fenway tracks and sit in the dugouts. The concessions stands will be open, and Wally the Green Monster will be painting faces.
