Fairy Circus by Tanglewood Marionettes
When/Where: Puppet Showplace Theatre, Saturday and Sunday, 1 and 3 p.m.
Why: See the hand-crafted marionettes and trick puppets performing their finest work as they play instruments, juggle and even transform. With music by favorite composers playing in the background, it promises to be an event to see.
Pricing: Tickets are $10.
Dinosaurs are coming to Franklin Park Zoo!
When/Where: All Weekend at Franklin Park Zoo
Why: Dinosaurs! Need we say more? The zoo's new exhibit, Zoorassic Park features a number of prehistoric creatures, such as the Chasmosaurus and baby, a Cryolophosaurus, a Dilophosaurus and others, peering out from behind the foliage.
Pricing: Entry is $3.
Seed Bead Weaving Series
When/Where: 11 a.m. on Sunday at Abeille.
Why: Thought about crafting with Daisy Chain, Peyote, Russian rope or making bangle embellishments with seed bead weaving? Fortunately, there is a class for that this weekend. All the basics, and time to troubleshoot and help finish any projects you may have already started on.

Shavuot Ice Cream Party and Dairy Buffet
When/Where: Chabad Chai Center, 4 p.m. Sunday
Why: Following a reading of the ten commandments, an ice cream and dairy buffet to celebrate Shavuot. They have ten reasons to come by, including mint chocolate chip, sugar cones and a cherry on top.
