One more day 'til fireworks!
1. Sunny and a high of 85ºF, with an evening low dipping to 66F and increasing clouds.
The National Weather Service, is also predicting that Independence Day might see thunderstorms during the day (50 percent chance of precipitation) and in the evening (30 percent chance). High of 85ºF, low of 70ºF.
2. When you're out and about at your Independence Day celebrations tomorrow (and tonight), take some photos and videos to upload. On Thursday, we'll be looking for uploads from Brookline residents. To upload photos and videos on any article, simply click the "Upload Photos and Videos" button.
3. We know you have supplies for July 4, but for any other parties upcoming until the end of the month, note that Party Favors will be closed for renovations. The store will be open from 9:30 a.m. today until 7 p.m.
4. Tonight, at 5 p.m., the The Army of Broken Toys and Erin Morgenstern will be at the Brookline Booksmith for The Night Circus Paperback Release Party. The store will be transformed into a three-ring circus with games of chance and skill, magic and a chance to peer into the future.
5. If you are interested in starting your own sensational Public Access TV series, and BATV is the place to do it. However, before you get started, you'll need to attend the Brookline Access T.V. Orientation, which is running at 6 p.m. tonight at the Brookline High School.
