4. The Brookline Booksmith is welcoming the man whose book inspired "The Social Network," Ben Mezrich, author of "Sex on the Moon," his new book which follows a NASA intern's attempt to steal moon rocks. Head to the store at 7 p.m. to find out more.

5. Have you learned to stop worrying and love the bomb? Director Stanley Kubrick's famed satire is a Big Screen Classics, playing at the Coolidge Corner Theatre at 7 p.m. tonight. You will meet a vast cast of characters, and learn why this is one of the best comedies in the last 100 years, according to the American Film Institute. Tickets will run you $9.
