Five Things: January 14: Sing, Play, Grow!

Here are five things going on in town today.

 

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a chance of showers before 8 a.m., then there is a chance of sun breaking through with a high of 52. The evening will cloud over with a low near 31.  

2. Sing, Play, Grow! Weekly Music Classes: Sing, Play, Grow! offers an excellent program of early childhood music and movement classes for ages 0-5 at 50 Sewall Ave at 9:15 a.m.

3. Story Time at Henry Bear's Park: All ages are welcome, and no sign up is necessary. Story time starts at 11 a.m.   

4. Young Adult Book Club: For our inaugural meeting, read any of John Green’s books: A Fault in Our StarsPaper Towns, Will Grayson, Will Grayson, or An Abundance of Katherines.  Open to teens ages 12-18 at 5 p.m. at the Brookline Booksmith.

5. DANE Mondays Ballroom and Latin dance groups: Need a new way to kick off your week?  Jump over to Dancesport Academy of New England on a Monday night for an intermediate level group class at 384 Harvard Street.
