Dennis Lehane's Dog Still At Large

Find the famous author's dog and have a character in his next book named after you.

Whether out on the streets or in the home of some good Samaritan, Dennis Lehane’s dog, Tessa, is still missing. Lehane describes Tessa as a friendly black and tan beagle who was micro-chipped, but the tags were off when she went into the backyard in Brookline.

As of Wednesday night, Lehane posted on his Facebook that they had followed up on many leads, but the Tessa is still out roaming the wilds of Coolidge Corner. Lehane said that anyone who helps return the dog will have a character named after them in his next book.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lehane or call the Brookline Police Animal Control Officer at 617-730-2222.

So very sorry your family dog went missing just before Christmas. We lost our cat on the 19th and emphasize with your problem which can have a happy ending!
I do fear that in this very DOWN economy naming a character in your book will not put food on the table of whoever has this classic story book beagle. Tip of me hat to you and all the TV alerts and now Internet along with this mornings 9am phone alert!
