New This Week: Human Centipede 2, Rum Diary, Tiny Furniture, Woody Allen:A Documentary.

Staff Pick: "Moby Dick." Culled from a 2010 TV series, with William Hurt as Ahab, and Ethan Hawke as Starbuck. It may  not do Melville's work full justice, but still worth its salt. Plenty of action, needless to say , in pursuit of the whale and in daily life at sea; plenty of convincing interaction between the  men on board.

The 2010 "Moby Dick" mentioned above is not to be confused with 2010: Moby Dick, starring Barry Bostwick as Ahab in a modernized, B-movie take on the story.

(It's hilariously bad in some places...)
