Brookline Runners & Walkers Help Raise $100,000 for Franciscan Hospital for Children

The 4th annual New Balance Heart Break Hill 5K run and walk was held Sunday, June 12. Charitable runners, walkers, and cyclists of all ages gathered at Boston College’s Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill to support Franciscan Hospital for Children in conjunction with community health fair. Over 700 friends, families, staff, and sponsors appeared in the pouring rain to raise over $100,000 for the care and treatment of thousands of children in the Boston area. Major sponsors include Commonwealth Sports Club, SBLI, The Hamilton Company, Century Bank, Mike FM and Boston College. Donations can still be made at www.franciscanhospital.org/5K.
