The following incident report is based on Brookline Police Department dispatch logs for Aug. 29 through 30. Look for weekday incident reports twice a week, and arrest logs each Tuesday on Brookline Patch. Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Breaking and Entering, Theft and Larceny

• Police responded to a motor vehicle breaking-and-entering on Beacon Street, near the 1030 block, on Wednesday at about 8 a.m.
• Theft recorded on Carlton Street, before noon on Wednesday.
• About noon Wednesday, a man reported that he was the victim of a credit card fraud after seeing fraudulent charges made to his account in Georgia. The man has since canceled his card and notified his bank.
• Police responded to a larceny of a vehicle at the Boylston Street Uhaul station, about 11:15 a.m. on Thursday. 
• Bike theft resolved shortly after it was reported at about 11:15 a.m. on Thursday. The Park department located the bike, and returned it to a police officer at the Baker School.
• Theft reported at 46 Carlton Street about 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. 
• Andre Shoes reported a shoplifting incident on Thursday at about 4:15 p.m. The suspect was described as 5'4" tall, light-skinned black woman with short hair, gold hoop earrings and a white tank top, denim bottoms, sparkly designer shoes and two large bags. Two pairs of True Religion brand jeans were taken.

Traffic

• A car turning from Harvard Street to Sewall Avenue crashed into a parked car. The parked car sustained damage to the rear panel and tail light on the driver's side, at about 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
• Police resolved a road rage incident at the top of Hammond Street about 1:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Other

• The sound of leafblowers was reported on Summit Avenue, around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, and on Thursday at about 8:45 a.m. on Chatham Street. The use of leaf blowers is still banned until Sept 15.
• A Foster Street man reported a PHOP tag on the side of a dumpster, painted in white, around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Brookline Police reported that they arrested the tagger who uses that alias.
• Police arrested a woman for trespassing at 400 Heath Street, about 9:45 p.m. last Wednesday. 
• Police received a report of a woman with a knife, described as a black female in her 40s or 50s waving a knife on a bus in Brookline Village. MBTA police responded to the incident, and requested EMS for a psychiatric evaluation.
• Police responded to a report of stalking at about 5 p.m. Thursday at 20 Stearns Road.
