Brookline Police Charge Two More in BU Robberies
Second and third suspects charged in Boston University robberies.
After a juvenile male turned himself in to police on Oct. 11 in connection with robberies in the north Brookline area near Boston University, on Oct. 12 police charged a 17-year-old and another juvenile with armed robbery, officials said.
Taquari Milton, 17, of Lawrence Avenue in Roxbury, was arrested by Brookline police and charged with two counts of armed robbery in connection to two robberies on Sept. 25 and Oct. 5, according to a press release from Lt. Philip Harrington.
A second juvenile, who will not be identified because of his age, has also been charged with two counts of armed robbery after turning himself into police late in the afternoon Friday, the release said.
Both will be arraigned in Brookline District Court on Monday.
On Oct. 11, a juvenile also turned himself in to police in connection with the spate of armed robberies in the Commonwealth Avenue area near Boston University. On Oct. 10, police announced a tip line and $10,000 reward for information on the four recent robberies.
