Brookline Has 2012's Best-Designed Food Truck: Paris Creperie

The results are in, and the food truck from a Coolidge Corner creperie is a best design.

According to over 800 voters at Mobile Cuisine magazine, La Tour Eiffel, the food truck designed for Paris Creperie is the best-designed in the nation

The black-and-pick look and feel of the food truck was designed by Kristen Mallia, a graphic designer whose brother Nick is the catering and events manager at the cafe. He submitted the truck for Mobile Cuisine's Best Food Truck Graphic Design contest

Of the 15 trucks in the poll, La Tour Eiffel was the only truck from the New England area, and snagged more than 800 of the over 4,500 votes in the poll. Mobile Cuisine will feature the truck in an upcoming article, and designer Kristen Mallia will have a month of free advertising on the site.

The truck is one of five currently operating in Brookline's pilot food truck program, and serves food near 1622 Beacon Street on Saturdays and Sundays, and from Monday to Friday if can be foudn at 11 St. Mary's Street. The truck will also roll out to a number of upcoming events, including New England Food Truck Festival events, and the Boston Red Dog show.
