The following arrest report is based on Brookline Police Department reports for Nov. 7 through 13. Look for weekday incident reports each Saturday, weekend reports each Monday, and arrest logs each Tuesday on Brookline Patch. Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Monday, Nov. 7

• Trespassing: warrant arrest - Stacy Faragi, a Salisbury resident aged 45 reportedly walked into an animal hospital in the 1625 block of Beacon Street, and appeared to be confused. She was asking questions about someone dropping off a cat, but would not give her name. She took pictures, then left. Officers caught up with her and determined that she had an outstanding arrest warrant for trespassing. She was arrested and charged on that warrant by officerst at around 10:15 a.m. 
• Warrant arrest - Southborough resident, Patrick Murphy, aged 19, was pulled over for a reported expired inspection sticker at around 4:45 p.m. Officers determined that he had an outstanding warrant, and he was arrested and charged on that warrant, for shoplifting and conspiracy.

Tuesday, Nov. 8

• Warrant arrest - 21-year-old Travis Inwald, a Beacon Street resident. Officers received a tip from the Patrol Warrant Apprehension Unit that Inwald had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Officers served the warrant at his apartment and placed him under arrest, charged on that warrant at about 6:45 p.m.
• Warrant arrest - St. Paul Street man, 18-year-old Richard Smothers. Officers received a tip from the Patrol Warrant Apprehension Unit that Smothers had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a number plate violation to conceal his identity. Officers served the warrant at his apartment and placed him under arrest, charged on that warrant at about 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 9

• Assault-and-battery of a police officer - 78-year-old Efrain Fernandez, reportedly assaulted three gas company workers, as witnessed by an officer working a police detail on Elm Street at Davis Avenue, 11:45 a.m. Thursday. Fernandez was reacting to them attempting to work in front of their home, and was pushing and grabbing the crew members. When the officer stepped in, the man continued to berate the crew for another several minutes. While restrained and being walked to the corner of Davis Avenue, the man began kicking and attempting to knee the officer in the groin. He was arrested and charged with assault-and-battery of a police officer and disorderly conduct at around 11:45 a.m.
• Disorderly person - 21-year-old John Keamy, living in Brighton. At aroudn 6:15 p.m., two officers were conducting bicycle enforcement in Coolidge Corner saw a cyclist crossing the Beacon Street from Harvard Street and stopping at the median. At the same time, an ambulance was heading westbound on Beacon Street. The officers motioned for the cyclist, Keamy, to pull over, but he instead continued to ride in the left lane, refusing to pull over when instructed by officers. After a short chase, the cyclist was stopped near Thorndike Street and arrested and charged with a red light violation, refusing to stop and and being a disorderly person, as well as several town bicycle violations.

Thursday, Nov. 10

• Violation of DPW rules and regulations - 45-year-old Derek Mitchell, of Roxbury was stopped in the Newton Street and Grove Street area. He was arrested and charged with operating after suspension and violating DPW rules and regulations before 9 a.m.
• Warrant arrest - Marlboro man, 27-year-old Wilson Sobrinho, was seen by an officer cutting re-bar on the sidewalk with a gas-powered saw. This violates a town by-law, so the officer spoke with the man. Officers determined that he had an outstanding warrant from Clinton District court. He was placed under arrest and charged on that warrant at around 9:45 a.m.

Saturday, Nov. 12

• Possession of class A and B drugs with intent to distribute - Charles Hougham, a homeless man aged 45, Jody Claudio, 34, and Jose Quintero, 59, both of Jamaica Plain. Officers saw Hougham, who they report are known to them as a heroin buyer and user, walking away from a truck. They believed a drug deal had happened. Police followed the truck, which did not signal while turning and pulled the car over. Officers investigated the incident, and arrested and charged the three with conspiracy to commit substance abuse, and possession of a class A and B drug. Claudio and Quintero were also charged with a school zone violation, at about 6 p.m.
