Best Brunch for Mothers' Day Goes to....

A quiet polling week gives the Readers' Choice accolades to a Coolidge Corner favorite.

 

A quiet polling week with few new reviews means the race between the 18 Brookline brunch spots went to the top vote earner. For a while, it looked like Lineage was going to claim the title, but the final few votes cast brought one winner out: 

Zaftigs Delicatessen.

No new reviews posted on any of the listings this week, however both Zaftigs and the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse earned five star reviews before the week began. We also have to make mention of The Fireplace (with their special Mother's Day menu) came in third in the votes.

Here are the Winners' Circle standings thus far: Finesse Florist joined for the finest florist last week; TerraVino the top Wine shop in Coolidge Corner; along with Marathon Sports, the best sporting goods store in town; best tax prep, Doug Murstein CPA; the best kids menu in town at Dorado Tacos & Cemitas; St. Patrick's Day spot Matt Murphy's Pub; Trust Center for Early Education (TCEE) with best pre-school/day care in Brookline; and Paris Creperie home of the best smoothie.

As in past weeks, they will receive a framed Brookline Best of Patch Readers' Choice certificate and their directory listing will be added to the Readers' Choice 2012 category.
