Pierce Middle School Students Shovel Snow for a Cause

(February 11, 2013) Boston – 7th grade students from the John Pierce Middle School in Brookline are part of a Walk team, named “We Have Pierce Pride” led by teacher, Jamie Yadoff. Before the blizzard, they went door-to-door to their Brookline neighbors asking for donations in return for shoveling. This astounding team has already raised more than $6,500 to end hunger in Massachusetts. To donate to the “We Have Pierce Pride” team, visit www.projectbread.org/wehavepiercepride.
