Judith Feldman, MD of Brookline, MA will be honored at the MEDA (Multi-service Eating Disorders Association) Annual Gala on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 6:30PM – 10:30PM at the Boston Marriott Hotel in Newton, MA. Judith will be recognized for her work done under MEDA’s Connect to Growth (CTG) branch, a program that strives to educate and train Professionals around the intricacies of eating disorder treatment.
“For decades Judith's psychiatric treatment advice has been sought after by clients and providers alike. Her approach to eating disorder treatment has made her one of the most well-respected doctors in the field. A MEDA Professional Member from the beginning, Judith’s colleagues and fellow Professional Members chose her as the recipient of this award.” said Beth Mayer, President of MEDA.
Eating disorders claim eleven million people as victims each year. With the highest mortality rate of any mental illness, eating disorders continue to play a major role in our culture.
